Beer aficionados will be booking their spots on ferries to Amsterdam soon to attend a festival dedicated to the popular beverage.
The 32nd PINT Bokbierfestival will be held at the Beurs van Berlage venue in Amsterdam from October 30th to November 1st this year.
People who would like to attend the event can catch daily ferries to Amsterdam from Newcastle with
DFDS Seaways, with departures from the port in north-east England at 17:00.
The Bokbierfestival is the largest event of its kind held in Holland.
Every year, visitors are invited to try more than 50 different varieties of beer while enjoying live music and other entertainment.
As well as sampling the variety of drinks on offer, festival-goers can learn about the Dutch art of beer-making from PINT, the organisation that represents the country's brewers and enthusiasts.
In addition to the direct Amsterdam ferry service, travellers can reach Holland on the Hull to Rotterdam ferry route served by P&O Ferries or by catching ferries to Hook of Holland from Harwich with
Stena Line.
