Fans of Andy Warhol will no doubt be keen to catch
ferries from Hull to Rotterdam next month, as the city prepares to host an exhibition on the artist.
The Kunsthal Rotterdam will showcase photographs of the world surrounding the legend and some of the people who have pictured him through the ages.
David McCabe, Billy Name, Robert Mapplethorpe and Thomas Hoepker are among those represented at the event, which runs from February 4th-11th 2012.
All of the pictures have been sourced from a private collection entitled From Cobra to Contemporary, which belongs to Hugo and Carla Brown.
Almost 1,000 works are documented through the exhibition, including everything from the recent work of famous artists to new talent.
Kunsthal Rotterdam offers a series of exhibitions throughout the year, exploring different aspects of culture through art and design.
P&O Ferries operates a reliable service to Rotterdam, with around seven crossings per week leaving Hull, taking under 11 hours to complete.
