Fans of the hit sci-fi series Doctor Who might be interested in booking a ferry to Belfast with
Norfolkline later this year to see a live version of the show.
Doctor Who Live will come to the Odyssey Arena in Northern Ireland's capital city on November 6th and 7th as part of a UK tour.
Norfolkline offers
ferries from Liverpool to Belfast, while
Stena Line operates a Stranraer to Belfast ferry service.
Fans who are able to get tickets for the live show will be treated to a spectacular audiovisual experience featuring a live 16-piece orchestra and appearances by some of Doctor Who's famous monsters and aliens, such as the Daleks and the Cybermen.
Commenting on the arena production, series producer Steven Moffat said: "This is everything I ever wanted since I was 11. A live show, with all the coolest Doctor Who monsters, a proper story and brand new screen material for Matt Smith's Doctor.
"I'll be writing scenes for it and probably attending every single night!"
People living in Ireland might be tempted to arrange a trip to the British mainland with Stena Line or
Irish Ferries to see the show during its tour.
It will visit venues including the Sheffield Arena (October 12th-13th), the Scottish Exhibition and Conference Centre in Glasgow (October 14th-17th) and the Liverpool Echo Arena (November 2nd-3rd).
