Music fans will be booking Wightlink ferry crossings over the coming months in preparation for the Isle of Wight Festival in June.
This event, which has a history dating all the way back to 1968, will be held from June 12th to 14th this year and tickets are already on sale.
The headline acts for the 2009 festival include the Prodigy, Basement Jaxx, Stereophonics, Razorlight and Neil Young, all of whom will be performing on the main stage.
Music fans will also be able to see the Charlatans at this year's event, which will once again be held at Seaclose Park in Newport.
The Isle of Wight Festival is not the only major music event being held on the island this year, with Bestival set to take place between September 11th and 13th, featuring performances by Kraftwerk, Massive Attack and others.
Travellers can choose from three Wightlink ferry crossings for their trip to the Isle of Wight, one that links Lymington to Yarmouth and two other services that connect Portsmouth to Fishbourne and Ryde.
