Ferries to Ireland will prove a popular option with food lovers in June as the Taste of Dublin festival takes place.
This major celebration of good food and drink will be held at Dublin's Iveagh Gardens from June 11th to 14th.
Travellers will be able to catch ferries to Dublin to try the best food that 20 of the city's most prestigious restaurants have to offer and sample the products of a host of leading food and drink companies.
Individual events that will be held during the festival include demonstrations by celebrity chefs and masterclasses on how best to combine meals with beverages.
Some 30,000 visitors are expected to attend the Taste of Dublin festival, which is organised by a company that also arranges events in Cork, Edinburgh, London and other destinations.
People planning to visit the Irish capital can travel on a Holyhead to Dublin ferry crossing with Irish Ferries or Stena Line or alternatively catch
ferries from Liverpool to Dublin with Norfolkline Irish Sea or P&O Ferries.
