This event will bring a variety of stunning sights and sounds to Sandown town centre on August 27th.
One of the biggest and best-known events regularly held on the Isle of Wight, the illuminated procession features fire-themed shows, impressive floats, costumed performers and bands all parading through the town's streets.
Thousands of lights are also arranged to lend a unique atmosphere to one of the island's best carnival events.
Sandown is a popular destination for people who have taken ferry journeys to the Isle of Wight, situated close to the sparkling waters of Sandown Bay and its twin resort of Shanklin.
Tourists can indulge in activities ranging from walks along cliff-top paths, which offer excellent views of the bay, to a spot of golf at Browns golf course on Culver Parade. |
