Travellers are often all too keen to see what the south of Spain has to offer, but the north has just as many spectacular destinations.
Among them is the city of Santander, which is easily reached through ferry crossings from the UK.
TV personality Christine Hamilton is one person who recently found out just how simple the journey is, as she headed over to Spain's lesser known north coast to see what was on offer.
She made the journey on board the MV Cap Finistere, a member of the
Brittany Ferries fleet that is well equipped for making the trip as enjoyable as possible.
Among the highlights was said to be the Restaurant du Port, which provided an "excellent dinner".
Santander was used by the Hamiltons as a gateway to the Basque country, they told the Daily Mail, as it is a port that opens up so many different holiday opportunities to tourists.
