Seafood lovers might be tempted to take ferries to Pembroke this year to experience the annual Pembrokeshire Fish Week festival.
Due to run from June 26th to July 4th, the culinary celebration will feature over 200 events and activities showcasing local cuisine.
People travelling from Ireland can reach south-west Wales via the Rosslare to Pembroke ferry route, which is served by
Irish Ferries.
Highlights of the festival will include a cooking masterclass by Valentine Warner, presenter of the BBC series What to Eat Now, and a seafood feast prepared by Mitch Tonks of the Seahorse restaurant.
In addition to the culinary events, there will be adventurous activities on offer including guided kayak trips along the river and windsurfing sessions.
Music fans will be able to enjoy some live jazz at Tenby Harbour, folk performances in Fishguard and a sea-shanty night at Milford Haven.
Another travel option for people planning to visit Pembrokeshire is the Rosslare to Fishguard ferry service, which is provided by
Stena Line.
