Ferries to Liverpool will be carrying football fans to north-west England in October as Merseyside prepares for one of the sporting highlights of the year.
Premier League title hopefuls Liverpool will take on reigning champions Manchester United at Anfield on October 25th.
Football fans based in Ireland can catch ferries to Liverpool from Belfast or Dublin with
Norfolkline Irish Sea. P&O Ferries also serves the Liverpool to Dublin ferry route, while the Steam Packet Company provides a Liverpool ferry link from the Isle of Man.
Rafa Benitez's Reds will have their eyes on the Premier League crown this season, having seen bitter rivals United win the title for the past three years in a row.
Neither side has made a blistering start to the season, with Liverpool losing two of their first three games and the Red Devils dropping three points against newly promoted Burnley.
Other Premier League matches taking place on Merseyside over the coming months include a meeting between Everton and Stoke City on October 3rd and a match between Liverpool and Birmingham City on November 9th.
As well as travelling directly to Liverpool, people planning to visit north-west England can catch ferries to Fleetwood from Larne with
Stena Line or use the Heysham ferry service provided by the Steam Packet Company from the Isle of Man.
