Football fans will be booking their ferries to Liverpool soon to see some Premier League action following the release of the 2009-10 fixture list.
Liverpool were in a close fight for the title with Manchester United last season and will hope to go one step further than their eventual second-place finish this year.
The Reds will start their campaign with an away game against Tottenham Hotspur on August 15th before returning to Liverpool for a match against Stoke City at Anfield on August 19th.
Highlights of the first half of the season for Liverpool fans will include the Merseyside derby, which will take place at Everton's home ground of Goodison Park on the weekend of November 28th.
Manchester United supporters will also be catching ferries to Liverpool to make the journey to Old Trafford for some of the champions' home matches, including a big game against Arsenal on August 29th.
Travellers can catch ferries to Liverpool from Dublin with P&O Ferries or sail to the English port from Belfast with
Norfolkline Irish Sea.
Liverpool ferry services are also available from the Isle of Man with the Steam Packet Company.
