People with a passion for all things maritime will be catching ferries to Belfast in August to see the finale of the Tall Ships Atlantic Challenge.
The event will be taking place between 13 and 16 August this year, coinciding with the Belfast Maritime Festival.
Travellers can see the impressive spectacle by catching ferries to Belfast from Liverpool with
Norfolkline Irish Sea.
Ships will dock at quaysides along the River Lagan and provide a backdrop for four days of events including fireworks displays, aerobatic shows, live music and a strong man competition.
Visitors will also be able to go on trips along the river, take tours of Titanic heritage sites, explore continental markets and visit fun fairs.
The Tall Ships Atlantic Challenge last came to Belfast in 1991, when the giant vessels were seen by some 250,000 people.
People coming from Scotland to attend the event can catch ferries to Belfast from Stranraer with
Stena Line.
