Travellers planning to take ferries to France and visit the country's capital city this year have been encouraged to make use of the Paris Sightseeing Pass.
Trips to Paris could prove particularly popular when the city hosts its annual carnival on February 16th, which will feature a parade of musicians, marching bands and more.
People planning to attend the event can take ferries to Le Havre from Portsmouth with
LD Lines or travel on the
Dover to Calais ferry route with P&O Ferries or
Seafrance before driving south towards Paris.
With the sightseeing pass, tourists can visit attractions such as the Arc de Triomphe, Notre Dame cathedral and the Louvre and benefit from priority access at the city's busiest sites.
Adults can buy a two-day card for 89 (£77) or a four-day option for 126.
The pass comes with a free guidebook and a variety of deals, discounts and special offers.
Other sea travel options for people planning to visit Paris include
Norfolkline's ferries to Dunkerque from Dover and the Portsmouth to Caen ferry route, which is served by
Brittany Ferries.
