Winter sports enthusiasts planning to take a ferry to France for a skiing or snowboarding holiday this year can prepare for their trip by attending an event in Birmingham in October.
The British Ski and Board show will take place at the Birmingham NEC from October 29th to 31st and will provide information about a number of leading resorts across Europe.
Visitors will be able to find out about the range of slopes and facilities on offer in different locations and also check out new products and services available from around 150 exhibitors.
Travellers can take a
ferry to France with companies such as
LD Lines,
Norfolkline and
P&O Ferries and drive south to visit some of Europe's top alpine resorts.
As well as making preparations for their break, visitors to the British Ski and Board Show can enjoy entertainment provided by the Big Air Freestyle display team.
There will also be screenings of the latest skiing and snowboarding movies and documentaries.
Brittany Ferries recently encouraged winter sports fans to get their holiday underway by taking
ferries from Portsmouth to Caen, which will allow them to enjoy the freedom of travelling with their own car.
