People who enjoy visiting museums during their trips abroad should make sure they pay a visit to Brussels during Belgium ferry breaks this year.
The Belgian capital will host its annual Museum Night Fever event on March 6th, giving visitors the opportunity to explore its leading cultural institutes until 01:00 in the morning.
Travellers interested in attending the event can reach Belgium by taking ferries to Zeebrugge, which are available from Hull with P&O Ferries and from Rosyth with
Norfolkline.
As well as viewing museum collections after dark, visitors will be able to experience the various other events that are arranged during Museum Night Fever, including live music concerts, dance shows, parties and special exhibitions.
Attractions set to participate in the initiative this year include the Centre for Fine Arts, the BELvue Museum, the Belgian Comic Strip Centre and the Maison du Roi.
People based in the south of England can get to Belgium via the Ramsgate to Ostend ferry route, which is served by
TransEuropa Ferries.
