The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company recently provided transport for a team of young island footballers travelling to London to take part in the National Football Festival.
Eleven youngsters from Union Mills FC's under-9s team enjoyed a trip to Wembley to join 55 other teams at the event.
They played on the pitch at the famous London stadium and met football legends Sir Geoff Hurst, Sir Trevor Brooking and Michael Owen.
Club coach Michael Fitzmaurice said it was a "fantastic experience" for the children and thanked the
Isle of Man Steam Packet Company, which provided free travel to England.
Mark Woodward, the ferry operator's chief executive, said: "The National Football Festival is a fantastic event for youngsters, giving them the opportunity to test their skills against children from around the UK, and we're delighted to have been able to support Union Mills FC and help their under-9s take part in what is probably a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to play at Wembley."
