The Isle of Man Steam Packet Company has announced that it is taking advance ferry bookings for the Manx Grand Prix 2009.
Passengers can find out information and book sailings for the event which does not get underway until August 22nd 2009.
The company said that it was enabling customers to book in advance in order to cater for the "huge demand" for ferries to the Isle of Man during the Manx Grand Prix period.
Chief executive Mark Woodward said: "We understand that many people, while currently enjoying this year's Manx Grand Prix, are already looking toward their trip next year.
"This advance booking system ensures that the high demand is met and that our customers can make other arrangements safe in the knowledge that their seats are booked for the 2009 event."
The Manx Grand Prix is a series of motorcycle races that are held on the Isle of Man's TT course every year.
Many fans will soon be catching cheap ferries from the Isle of Man back to the mainland when this year's event comes to an end on August 29th.
