The
Isle of Man Steam Packet Company has announced that it will operate its first round-the-island trip of the year tomorrow (June 19th).
Passengers will be transported around the Isle of Man on the Ben-my-Chree, which will set off from Douglas ferry port at 19:00 BST.
The sailing has been scheduled to allow customers to enjoy the long evening and take in the island's scenery as the sun sets.
Mark Woodward, chief executive of the Steam Packet Company, said: "Our round-the-island trips offer residents and visitors an unusual way to view parts of the island's coastline that they may not ordinarily see.
"These trips can provide a relaxing and convivial way to spend an evening taking in the spectacular scenery we have on our doorstep, but may not always have the opportunity to enjoy."
People planning to take
Isle of Man ferry breaks with the Steam Packet Company later this year might have the opportunity to visit the island's Food and Drink Festival, which will be held on September 25th and 26th.
The company operates ferries to the Isle of Man from Liverpool and Heysham, as well as Belfast and Dublin ferry services from its home port of Douglas.
