Stena Line this week launched the Stena Express vessel on its Holyhead to Dun Laoghaire ferry route.
Introduced on March 15th, the new ship provides a number of benefits for passengers, including increased service frequencies during the peak season and a shorter crossing time.
A £2 million refit was recently carried out on the Stena Express, equipping it with an extended lounge and other onboard facilities including a coffee bar, free wireless internet access and a new retail outlet.
The vessel has the capacity to carry up to 520 passengers and 120 cars on Stena Line's Holyhead to Dun Laoghaire ferry link.
Dermot Cairns, the company's general manager for Irish Sea travel, said: "As the Stena Express joins the Holyhead to Dun Laoghaire route we are looking forward to providing customers with even more reasons to cross the Irish Sea.
"The Stena Express Fastcraft offers excellent onboard facilities, giving passengers the chance to sit back and relax as they travel."
Stena Line also offers a Holyhead to Dublin ferry service, as well as ferries to Belfast from Stranraer.
