Ferry company Stena Line has announced that its new 2009 fares are on sale now and advised its customers to book early to get the best deals.
As an example, Stena Line states that people who book 28 days before departure can travel from £79 single for a car plus driver from Holyhead to Dublin or Dun Laoghaire.
Customers should book at least 28 days in advance for the lowest prices and can add extra passengers to their journey for as little as £10 for children.
With the added convenience of being able to take the car, it has "never been easier to visit Ireland", according to the ferry operator.
Stena Line's Dublin ferry services are among its most popular offerings, but it also sails from Fishguard to Rosslare, from Fleetwood to Larne and from Stranraer to Belfast.
People planning to visit continental Europe this year can make use of the Stena Line route between Harwich and Hook of Holland.
