Parents searching for ways to keep their children entertained have been offered a number of ideas by ferry company
Stena Line.
One recommendation from the operator is a Belfast Lough cruise onboard the Stena Caledonia, where youngsters will be treated to face painting, balloon modelling, karaoke and more.
People catching ferries to Stranraer from Belfast with
Stena Line will be able to take their kids to M&D's, a theme park that boasts a number of thrill rides as well as amusements suitable for younger children.
Another popular attraction in Scotland is Sno!Zone at the Xscape centre in Braehead, where visitors can have a go at skiing or snowboarding on a 200-metre course of real snow.
Nigel Tilson, the ferry operator's UK communications manager, said: "Hopefully
Stena Line's list will inspire parents to plan family day trips and weekend breaks this summer to suit a range of budgets and make the most of the school holidays."
In addition to its Belfast to Stranraer ferry service,
Stena Line offers ferries to Dublin from Holyhead and sails from Harwich to Hook of Holland.
