People travelling on
Stena Line's Stranraer to Belfast ferry route last weekend were given a culinary treat when the company hosted its first ever onboard barbecue.
Chef Robbie McCutcheon helped to prepare the food on June 12th, providing a range of hot snacks for hungry passengers on the Stena Navigator.
Stena Line revealed that the windy weather did not put off the "droves of customers" who were quick to head out onto the deck to tuck into the food.
The company is currently offering seven daily
ferries from Stranraer to Belfast between Monday and Saturday, with five crossings available on Sundays.
Dermot Cairns, Stena Line's general manager for travel on the Irish Sea, revealed that the company is planning to host barbecues on a regular basis on the Stena Navigator.
He added: "It will certainly add something to [the] onboard experience."
The operator also provides
ferries from Holyhead to Dublin and Dun Laoghaire, as well as a Fishguard to Rosslare ferry service.
