Stena Line has claimed that it will offer the "best fares" for people planning to catch ferries to Holland towards the end of the month to experience two major events in the country.
One of the highlights will be the PINT Bokbierfestival, which will be based at the Beurs van Berlage building in Amsterdam from October 30th to November 1st.
More than 12,000 beer enthusiasts are expected to attend the festival to sample a variety of local brews and enjoy some live music.
Travellers can take ferries to Hook of Holland from Harwich with
Stena Line and make the short journey to the capital city, or alternatively use the Newcastle to Amsterdam ferry service provided by
DFDS Seaways.
Another popular event due to take place in Holland this month is the Boom Chicago Halloween party at the Leidseplein Theatre.
Music will be provided by a line-up of DJs and there will be prizes worth 500 (£454) on offer for the best costumes.
P&O Ferries also provides access to Holland with its Hull to Rotterdam ferry route.
