Stena Line's ferries to Belfast and Larne could become a more popular option as a result of its involvement in a new campaign promoting tourism in Northern Ireland.
The ferry operator is one of a number of industry partners taking part in the Tourism Ireland initiative, with the Belfast Visitor Convention Bureau also set to be involved.
Tourism minister Arlene Foster introduced the £1.2 million marketing campaign, which aims to encourage travellers to visit Northern Ireland over the coming months to see what the region has to offer.
"It will focus on making Northern Ireland stand out from its competitors by highlighting the wide range of culture, festivals and local food on offer, along with the genuine warmth and welcome of the people here," Ms Foster said.
"The campaign will also bring value for money to the forefront, maximising the benefits of the current exchange rate."
People interested in visiting Northern Ireland can take ferries to Belfast from Stranraer with
Stena Line or use the company's Fleetwood to Larne ferry service.
Norfolkline also offer ferries to Belfast from Liverpool, while P&O Ferries serves the Cairnryan to Larne ferry route.
