Holidaymakers will be able to celebrate the arrival of spring during Isle of Wight ferry breaks over the coming months.
Isle of Wight Tourism highlighted several events that will be taking place on the island to showcase the range of flora and fauna that begin to thrive as temperatures start to rise.
Those interested in visiting the popular British holiday destination can take ferries to Fishbourne or Ryde from Portsmouth with
Wightlink.
Among the events set to take place over the coming months is the Spring Garden Show at Robin Hill Country Park on April 24th and 25th, which will feature a range of horticulture-themed activities and live entertainment.
Visitors will be able to explore dozens of gardens and woodland areas during the Isle of Wight Walking Festival, which will run from May 8th to 23rd.
The 2010 programme will incorporate sections of the island's 500 miles of footpaths and 30 miles of coastline, taking in some of its most scenic outdoor locations along the way.
Other travel options for people heading to the Isle of Wight include
Wightlink's ferries to Yarmouth from Lymington, while
Hovertravel operates crossings from Southsea to Ryde.
