People planning Guernsey ferry breaks for Easter will be able to attend an event offering an insight into the island's turbulent but fascinating heritage.
Castle Cornet will provide the venue for the Easter Festival of Living History, which will take place over the long weekend from April 2nd to 5th.
Those planning to attend can take ferries to Guernsey from Portsmouth, Poole or Weymouth with
Condor Ferries.
Visitors will be entertained by groups of costumed performers giving energetic re-enactments of noteworthy episodes and battles from the island's history.
The event - which is being staged with the support of the Guernsey History in Action Company - will allow members of the public to return on each day of the Easter weekend.
Various other activities are set to take place on the island during the spring holiday, including the Easter Running Festival, which will be held between April 2nd and 5th.
As well as its Guernsey ferry services, Condor Ferries provides access to France with its St Malo ferry links from Portsmouth, Poole and Weymouth.
