Take a Route du Rock in Brittany |  | | | 22 July 2008 | Visitors to the picturesque French province of Brittany this summer will be entertained by some new and exciting music at La Route du Rock, a festival taking place in the town of Saint Malo.
The event will be particularly attractive to people planning to travel with Condor Ferries, as they will be able to take advantage of a ten per cent discount on their ticket price.
Condor Ferries sails to Saint Malo from Guernsey, Jersey, Poole and Weymouth.
Holidaymakers who decide to make use of one of these ferry crossings will be able to see an eclectic line-up of acts at La Route du Rock.
The festival, which will be held from August 14th-16th, will feature The Ting Tings, Sigur Ros, Foals, Cold War Kids, The Breeders, Tindersticks, Adam Kesher and many others.
Concerts will be staged at three venues on Brittany's Emerald Coast the Fort of Saint Pere, an 18th century Vauban castle; the Palais du Grand Large on the seafront; and the Beach FNAC. |
