Travellers looking for some new culinary experiences during a trip abroad this year can take ferries to Belgium to attend a special event in Brussels.
Culinaria Square will take place at the Belgian capital's Tour & Taxis venue between June 3rd and 6th.
The event serves as a showcase for some of the country's leading chefs and restaurateurs.
Food lovers who would be interested to see what the programme has to offer this year can take ferries from Hull to Zeebrugge with
P&O Ferries and drive inland to visit Brussels.
A total of 16 chefs are invited to take part in Culinaria Square, forming four quartets who collaborate to create a selection of unique menus.
Representatives from some of the country's top dining establishments have participated in the festival in the past, including Lionel Rigolet of Comme Chez Soi and Franky Vanderhaeghe from l'Hostellerie Saint-Nicolas.
Visitors will be invited to improve their own culinary skills at a series of demonstrations and workshops, while a food market will sell a variety of quality produce.
Travellers heading to Belgium this year can also take ferries from Rosyth to Zeebrugge with
Norfolkline, while
LD Lines and
TransEuropa Ferries cooperate to offer crossings on the Ramsgate to Ostend ferry route.
