Theatre fans might be interested in booking ferries to Dublin this year to see productions of two acclaimed plays at the Gate Theatre.
Tom Stoppard's Arcadia opened at the venue today (May 27th) and will run until July 10th.
Described as a "dazzling and comic tale of mystery and love", the play is set in a stately home in Derbyshire in the 19th century, where a young girl proposes a groundbreaking mathematical theory beyond even her own understanding.
The adults around her, however, are more interested in their secret passions and illicit relationships.
People planning to see the Gate Theatre production of Stoppard's celebrated play can take
ferries from Holyhead to Dublin with
Stena Line or
Irish Ferries.
Travellers might also be interested in visiting the Irish capital from July 15th this year to see Arthur Miller's Pulitzer Prize-winning work Death of a Salesman.
Considered a masterpiece of 20th century theatre, the play tells the story of Willy Loman, a salesman whose life begins to fall apart when he loses his touch with the clients and begins to doubt the love of his family.
P&O Irish Sea and
Norfolkline also provide options for travellers heading to Ireland with their
ferries from Liverpool to Dublin.
