Mulhouse is home to Cite de l'Automobile, which houses a prestigious collection of automobiles including two Bugatti Royales and a range of Ferrari, Rolls Royce, Maserati and Maybach models.
Travellers can reach eastern France via the
Dover to Calais ferry route, which is served by P&O and
SeaFrance, while
Norfolkline provides
ferries from Dover to Dunkerque.
People planning to visit in October will have the opportunity to see the annual Rallye de France, which will be taking place outside Corsica for the first time this year.
There are also many culinary experiences on offer in Alsace, which is home to more Michelin-starred restaurants than any other region in France outside Paris.
Other travel options for holidaymakers heading to France include
