People planning ferry breaks in Ireland in October can pay a visit to Waterford to check out the 2010 Imagine Arts Festival.
Various entertainment and cultural events will take place at different venues around the city between October 22nd and 31st.
Music fans will be able to see a live performance by the Unthanks at the Forum Theatre on October 23rd and a concert by the Phoenix Orchestra at Christ Church cathedral the following day.
Waterford is located in south-east Ireland and is easy to reach for people taking
ferries from Pembroke to Rosslare with
Irish Ferries.
Another option is to take
ferries from Fishguard to Rosslare with
Stena Line.
Other highlights of this year's Imagine programme include an evening with writer and director Peter Sheridan at the Granary Theatre on October 23rd and a production of The Beauty Queen of Leenane at the same venue from October 22nd to 30th.
There will also be art exhibitions at the Garter Lane Gallery, film screenings at the Storm cinema and much more to enjoy.
Travellers heading to Ireland also have the option of taking
ferries from Liverpool to Dublin with
P&O or
Norfolkline/
DFDS Seaways.
