Travellers planning to take ferries to Mallorca as part of a Mediterranean holiday this summer will be able to schedule their trip to coincide with a special promotion.
The Thursday Night Fever programme will run in Palma, Mallorca's capital city, throughout the months of July, August and September.
Shops, restaurants, museums and galleries throughout the city will take part in the initiative by extending their opening hours to 23:30 on every Thursday night during these months.
Holidaymakers can reach Mallorca by taking ferries to Palma from Barcelona, Denia or Valencia on the Spanish mainland with
Balearia or Acciona.
The Thursday Night Fever season will offer more opportunities to visit the city's attractions and cultural institutes and will also feature special discounts and street entertainment.
Palma's CaixaForum is currently hosting an exhibition exploring the role of women in various cultures and societies throughout history, which will run until July 25th.
Visitors can continue their tour of the Balearic Islands by taking a ferry from Palma to Mahon in Menorca with Acciona.
