Travellers planning to take a ferry to Northern Ireland this month might be interested in checking out a special event set to take place at the Argory, a National Trust property in County Armagh.
From 11:00 to 16:00 on September 26th, the attraction will invite visitors to join in with a celebration of autumn.
This is one of many special events that will be taking place at National Trust sites as part of British Food Fortnight, which will run from September 18th to October 3rd.
Northern Ireland is accessible via
ferries from Liverpool to Belfast, which are provided by
Norfolkline/
DFDS Seaways, while
Stena Line offers
ferries from Stranraer to Belfast.
Visitors to the Argory will be able to join in with a National Trust team as they prepare the garden and greenhouse for the autumn and winter season.
Built in the 1820s, the Irish gentry house is surrounded by a 130-hectare wooded estate and is home to a second-hand bookshop, adventure playground and tearoom.
Northern Ireland is home to several National Trust sites, such as the Giant's Causeway, the ruins of Crom Castle and Hezlett House.
Another way for travellers to reach the destination is by taking
ferries from Troon to Larne with
P&O, which also sails from Cairnryan in Scotland.
