Travellers planning to take a ferry to Scotland for a break in Edinburgh this month might be interested in a special event that will be taking place in the capital.
A Taste of Spain will be held on the Mound in the centre of the city on July 24th and 25th.
There will be all sorts of cultural celebrations and culinary showcases taking place over the two days to offer an insight into the UK's favourite holiday destination.
People based in Northern Ireland can reach Scotland with
Stena Line, which operates
ferries from Stranraer to Belfast, while
P&O Ferries sails between Larne and Cairnryan.
Highlights of the Taste of Spain festival will include two giant paellas that will be prepared on each day, while ham from Andalucia and a range of sherries and wines will also be served.
Live entertainment will be provided by a Galician folk music group and even some Spanish bagpipe players, while sports fans can try out golf simulators showcasing some of the courses on offer throughout Spain.
Visitors who are inspired to arrange a trip to the European country can take
ferries from Portsmouth to Santander on Spain's northern coast with
Brittany Ferries.
