Art enthusiasts can book ferries to Spain later this year to see a new exhibition at the Guggenheim Bilbao.
Due to open on October 8th and run until January 23rd 2011, the display will showcase works representing the Golden Age of Dutch and Flemish painting from the Stadel Museum in Frankfurt.
The German museum was founded in 1816 and is home to one of the most important collections of 17th century art in Europe.
People planning a trip to northern Spain to visit attractions such as the Guggenheim Bilbao can travel with
Brittany Ferries, which provides regular
ferries from Portsmouth to Santander.
The exhibition will feature a range of famous examples of Dutch and Flemish painting, such as Vermeer's The Geographer.
Visitors can also look out for pieces by such celebrated artists as Rembrandt, Peter Paul Rubens and Dirk van Baburen.
Brittany Ferries also provides a service from Plymouth to Santander, while
P&O will offer
ferries from Portsmouth to Bilbao until the end of September.
