People who enjoy nothing more than exploring the great outdoors might be interested in booking
ferries to the Isle of Man with the Steam Packet Company to participate in a festival on the island this month.
The Isle of Man Summer Walking Festival, which is due to take place between June 13th and 18th, has proved so popular this year that extra volunteers have had to be recruited to act as guides.
Around 170 people are expected to attend, taking part in five different walks around the Isle of Man every day including the challenging 96-mile Radd Ny Foillan coastal route.
Travellers can embark on their
Isle of Man ferry breaks by sailing from Heysham or Liverpool to Douglas with the Steam Packet Company.
A number of popular walks will be returning to the festival's route programme this year, including a six-mile stroll from Port St Mary to Port Erin, which has already attracted bookings from more than 100 people.
Another popular option is the journey from Laxey to Snaefell and on to North Barrule and Ramsey.
The Steam Packet Company also provides access to the Isle of Man from Ireland, with regular ferries to Douglas from Belfast, Dublin and Larne.
