Take cheap ferries to Amsterdam for Queen's Day

Take cheap ferries to Amsterdam for Queen's Day
Travellers will be able to catch cheap ferries to Amsterdam towards the end of April to get involved in the city's Queen's Day celebrations.

Festivities are held in the Dutch capital on April 30th every year to celebrate the birthday of the Queen of the Netherlands.

The occasion sees all sorts of parties and live events being held all day and through the night right up to the evening of the following day.

Visitors will be able to see parades, street theatre and fireworks displays and visit craft shows, flea markets, children's parties and many other events throughout the city.

The main areas for the celebration include Prinsengracht, Museumplein and Rembrandtsplein, which host live music concerts and parties.

Tens of thousands of visitors flood into the city every year for Queen's Day, creating a crowded but highly enjoyable atmosphere.

Cheap ferries to Amsterdam are provided by DFDS Seaways from Newcastle, while Stena Line offers ferry crossings from Harwich to Hook of Holland and P&O Ferries sails from Hull to Rotterdam.
