Cross-channel ferries could prove a popular option among Franz Ferdinand fans next year when the indie group bring their European tour to Lille.
The Scottish five-piece will be performing their popular hits, as well as some new material from their new album being released in January, at the Lille Aeronef on March 16th.
There will be a number of other venues on the band's tour that fans can reach by taking ferry crossings, including the AB Club in Brussels (March 12th) and the Amsterdam Paradiso (March 13th).
Franz Ferdinand enjoyed their first taste of fame in the UK when the single Take Me Out reached number three in the singles chart, helping the group's debut album eventually sell more than a million copies.
Fans interested in seeing them in Lille can catch ferries from Dover to Calais with P&O Ferries or Seafrance, or alternatively sail from Dover to Dunkerque with Norfolkline.
There will be plenty of other shows at the Aeronef venue for visitors to enjoy over the coming months, including a Nina Simone tribute concert on February 13th.
