Travellers catching ferries to Belgium in September will be able to add some culture to their break by attending a concert in Bruges.
The Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra will give a rendition of Gustav Mahler's Ninth Symphony at the Concertgebouw in Bruges on September 24th.
People interested in attending the show can travel on the Hull to Zeebrugge ferry route served by P&O Ferries or catch ferries to Zeebrugge from Rosyth with
Norfolkline.
Rising star Yannick Nezet-Seguin will conduct the Rotterdam Philharmonic Orchestra, a group that has already won great acclaim in Bruges for its performances of Mahler's symphonies.
The audience will also be able to enjoy a rendition of Richard Strauss' Horn Concerto no 2.
Bruges' Concertgebouw will play host to several musical events over the coming months, including a performance by the Kryptos Quartet from the US on September 19th.
As well as catching ferries to Zeebrugge, travellers can reach Belgium by using the Ramsgate to Ostend ferry route served by
TransEuropa Ferries.
