People planning to take ferries to Belgium for a break in May will have the opportunity to expand their cultural horizons at the Festival of the Arts.
The next outing of the annual event will take place in Brussels from May 7th to 29th.
Belgian and international artists will travel to the city to participate in the festival and present new performances and pieces to a wide audience.
Those interested in experiencing the Festival of the Arts can reach Belgium by taking ferries to Zeebrugge from Rosyth with
Norfolkline, while
P&O Ferries offers a Hull to Zeebrugge ferry service.
Organisers of the event state that it is "dedicated to new creations, intended for artists with a personal outlook on the world and spectators willing to question their own views".
A number of art forms will be represented at this year's festival, including theatre, music, dance and film.
Tickets for the event will be available from March 26th, at which time a full programme will also be announced.
Another travel option for people planning to visit Belgium this year is the Ramsgate to Ostend ferry route, which is served by
TransEuropa Ferries and
LD Lines.
