Music fans planning Belgium ferry breaks during the October half-term holiday will have the opportunity to enjoy some live entertainment at the Music in Mind festival.
This event, which is held to celebrate 'imaginative music', will be based at the Concertgebouw venue in Bruges from October 23rd to November 1st.
Ferries to Zeebrugge, a port that offers easy access to the city of Bruges, are available from Rosyth with
Norfolkline or from Hull with P&O Ferries.
The Music in Mind festival will feature performances by a number of British artists this year, including pianist and composer Michael Nyman, who will be playing with a band on October 25th.
Talvin Singh, an artist who fuses Indian music with dance, and the Johnny Parry Chamber Orchestra will both play live at the Concertgebouw on October 24th.
Other confirmed artists on the festival programme include American multi-instrumentalist and composer Franz Nicolay and Puerto Rican musician Gabriel Rios.
TransEuropa Ferries also provides access to Belgium with its Ramsgate to Ostend ferry route, while Eurostar offers a direct rail link to Brussels.
