Families planning Dublin ferry breaks this Christmas will have the opportunity to enjoy some magical entertainment in the Irish capital.
Two stage productions based on well-known fairytales will be performed at the city's Civic Theatre, starting with Little Red Riding Hood on December 14th.
Performed by the Centre Stage Theatre Company, the show will feature live music and special effects that add a new aspect to the much-loved tale of a young girl, her grandmother and a big, bad wolf.
People interested in seeing the production, which is suitable for children aged four or older, can take ferries to Dublin from Liverpool with either P&O Ferries or
Norfolkline Irish Sea.
Another entertainment option for people planning to visit Ireland's capital city this Christmas is The Snow Queen, which will open at the Civic Theatre on December 27th and run until January 8th 2010.
Adapted from a Hans Christian Andersen story, the play follows the character of Gerda as she embarks on a dangerous journey to rescue her friend Kay from the evil Snow Queen.
People planning a festive break in Ireland can also travel on the Holyhead to Dublin ferry route served by
Irish Ferries and
Stena Line.
