People with an interest in Irish music and culture will be able to take ferries to Dublin in January to attend a festival dedicated to the subject.
The Temple Bar TradFest will take place in the heart of Dublin between January 27th and 31st next year.
One of the easiest ways to reach the Irish capital is by travelling on the Holyhead to Dublin ferry route, which is served by
Stena Line and
Irish Ferries.
Stena Line also operates ferries to Dun Laoghaire, just outside Dublin, from Holyhead.
TradFest features a variety of events themed around Irish culture, including live music concerts, exhibitions, film screenings and a parade.
Performers set to appear at the festival next year include the all female group Liadan, Matt Molloy, John Carty and the Kilfenora Ceili Band.
The Temple Bar TradFest was recently named the best traditional music event at the Irish Festival Awards.
People planning to attend in 2010 also have the option of taking ferries to Dublin from Liverpool with
Norfolkline Irish Sea or P&O Ferries.
