People with a passion for cinema should book their ferries to Dublin soon to attend a major event next year.
The Jameson Dublin International Film Festival will run from February 18th to 28th.
Based at various locations throughout the Irish capital, the festival features screenings of the latest and most exciting movies from Ireland and around the world, as well as gala premieres, workshops, public interviews and more.
Those interested in attending can take ferries to Dublin from Liverpool with
Norfolkline Irish Sea or P&O Ferries.
One of the highlights of the 2010 programme will be an evening of music by Nino Rota at the National Concert Hall on February 22nd.
Rota has composed scores for some of the most famous films in history, including La Dolce Vita and The Godfather.
It has also been confirmed that the film I Am Love will close next year's Jameson Dublin International Film Festival, with star Tilda Swinton and director Luca Guadagnino set to attend the screening.
Both
Stena Line and
Irish Ferries serve the Holyhead to Dublin ferry route, while
Stena Line also operates ferries to Dun Laoghaire in Ireland.
