Dublin ferry crossings will be carrying food lovers to the Irish capital next month when the city hosts Restaurant Week.
Due to run from March 22nd to 28th, the event sees some of the destination's leading restaurants offer special prices of between 25 (£22) and 30 for three-course dinners.
Those who pride themselves on having a discerning palate can see what the Irish capital has to offer by taking ferries to Dublin from Holyhead with
Irish Ferries or
Stena Line.
Another option is the Liverpool to Dublin ferry route, which is served by
Norfolkline Irish Sea and P&O Ferries.
Over 50 dining establishments will be participating in Restaurant Week this year, including Marco Pierre White's Steakhouse & Grill, Blue Bistro, Saba, Brasserie 66 and Fallon & Byrne.
For the first time, a number of hotels across Dublin will join in with the initiative by reducing their room rates by ten per cent.
The Westbury Hotel, Jurys Inn Parnell Street and the Westin are among the properties that will be offering lower prices.
People planning a trip to Ireland can take ferries to Dun Laoghaire from Holyhead with
Stena Line, which also offers a Fishguard to Rosslare ferry service.
