Music fans will be catching ferries to France and heading to Provence next month to attend one of the country's biggest festivals.
The Festival de Nimes will get underway on July 7th and bring a series of live shows to the Nimes Arena up to July 28th.
People interested in attending the festival this year can catch ferries to Calais, Le Havre, Caen and other ports and head south to reach Nimes.
Visitors will be treated to live music from the likes of Metallica on July 7th, the Ting Tings and Franz Ferdinand on July 21st and Seal on July 22nd.
British dance outfit the Prodigy will perform on July 23rd, followed by Duffy on July 25th and Nine Inch Nails on July 28th.
Both P&O Ferries and
Seafrance offer ferries to Dover from Calais, while LD Lines operates a Portsmouth to Le Havre ferry route and
Brittany Ferries sails from Portsmouth to Caen.
Travellers who are interested in extending their trip from southern France can catch ferries to Corsica, Italy, Tunisia and other destinations from the ports of Marseille, Toulon and Nice.
