Poor results on Tallink's route between Helsinki and Rostock may force it to close down, even though the enterprise has already cut down on its frequencies elsewhere.
Since the beginning of September, Superfast vessels have no longer been operating on the Tallinn-Helsinki line, but they will continue on Helsinki-Rostock for the time being.
"According to current plans, we will continue operating the route between Finland and Germany with two vessels but as better options present themselves we will be prepared to make further changes," explained Tallink FCO Janek Stalmeister.
