M/S Baltic Princess, the new cruise ferry of Tallink, will make its maiden voyage on the Tallinn-Helsinki line tomorrow.
Eesti Päevaleht writes that the new ferry will take 2,800 passengers and 1,130 line metres of vehicles on board and is the largest cruise ferry on the Baltic Sea.
Estonia's largest ferry group Tallink received the new high-tech vessel on Saturday. It is 212 metres long, 29 metres and has the highest 1A Super ice class. The maximum travel speed is 24 knots.
The vessel has 927 cabins, 12 restaurants and bars, three stores and a 450-seat conference centre.
The ferry will be departing daily from Estonia at 13.30 and from Helsinkiat 18.30. The travel time is 3.5 hours.
The new vessel cost Tallink EEK 2.5 billion and will replace M/S Galaxy.
