Music lovers will soon be booking ferries to the Isle of Wight with Wightlink in preparation for Bestival, which will return to the island in September.
The event will be held at Robin Hill Country Park near Newport from September 9th to 12th.
Curated by Radio 1 DJ Rob da Bank, the festival will attract some of the biggest names in modern pop, indie, hip hop and dance music to the Isle of Wight.
People planning to join in with the fun can take
ferries from Portsmouth to Fishbourne or Ryde with
Wightlink.
Festival-goers will be able to see Simian Mobile Disco, Hot Chip and headline act Dizzee Rascal get the weekend underway on the main stage on September 10th.
The Flaming Lips will top the bill on the Saturday along with Roxy Music, Mumford & Sons and many others, while Chic featuring Nile Rodgers, Chase & Status and the Prodigy will bring the party to an end on the last night.
More than 100 other acts will be performing in various tents and smaller stages at Bestival.
Wightlink provides another travel option with its
ferries from Lymington to Yarmouth, while
Hovertravel offers a service from Southsea to Ryde.
