Thinking ahead can help winter holidaymakers save money – booking ski passes and ski hire online and making other arrangements in advance can reduce cost as well as stress.
People on skiing holidays should also be aware of dynamic currency conversion, a practice that enables visitors to pay in sterling but processes their transaction at an unfavourable exchange rate.
When given the option to pay in local currency or sterling, visitors should always opt for the local currency.
There are a number of destinations on offer to people taking self-drive ski holidays to France. According to Caxton FX, Tignes and Val d'Isere are among the best for nightlife, while Courchevel offers a romantic atmosphere and Meribel and La Plagne are good for families. |
