Holidaymakers planning to take
ferries to France for a driving holiday this year will be able to make use of a new travel guide.
FRANCE Magazine announced that, following the success of its Driving in France book last year, it would be releasing a new publication entitled Beautiful Village Drives.
Readers will be able to find out about eight routes through some of the country's most picturesque areas, as well as useful tips and advice relating to driving overseas.
Travellers planning a French break this year can reach the country via
LD Lines' Portsmouth to Le Havre ferry route, while both
P&O Ferries and
SeaFrance offer
ferries from Dover to Calais.
FRANCE Magazine editor Carolyn Boyd said: "Our readers are huge fans of France's most beautiful villages and so we're delighted to have produced a guide that combines another of their main interests - driving holidays - with a selection of these gorgeous rural communities.
"It also provides plenty of inspiration for those who may be trying a driving holiday in France for the first time this year."
Brittany Ferries is one of the leading providers of services to the Normandy and Brittany regions of France, with regular
ferries from Portsmouth to Caen, St Malo and Cherbourg, as well as a Plymouth to Roscoff ferry link.
